When you encounter ground soil contamination, in-situ remediation often comes to mind, but it is critical to design the right system based on the formation and the present contaminants. For many scenarios, Soil-Vapor Extraction (SVE) is the best route for complete restoration of the soil.
SVE involves removing the contamination from the ground using a vacuum, piping systems and carbon media. Once the off-gasses reach the surface, they can be appropriately treated and neutralized.
